The New Urban Agenda represents a common ideal to achieve a better and more sustainable future, in which all people enjoy equal rights and access to the benefits and opportunities that cities can offer, and in which the international community reconsiders urban systems and the physical form of our urban spaces as a means to achieve this.
UN-Habitat is the United Nations program that works for a better urban future. Its mission is to promote the development of sustainable human settlements from a social and environmental point of view and to provide adequate housing for all.
